Data Deletion
Last updated: January 2025
You have the right to delete your data from ScanMyHealth at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what is retained for legal reasons, and how to make a deletion request.
What Gets Deleted
When you request full account deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your account (name, email, password)
- All uploaded health reports and scans
- AI-generated analysis results and insights
- Biomarker history and trend data
- Any notes or annotations you have added
- Coach sharing links and permissions
What May Be Retained
We may retain limited data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records — for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law (if applicable).
- Anonymised, aggregated data — data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained to improve the AI model.
- Legal hold data — if your account is subject to an active legal investigation.
